Dance sessions for seniors.
The Sepsi Metropolitan Area is committed to improving quality of life by promoting a healthy lifestyle, regular physical activity, and balanced nutrition. In line with this goal, the Senior Dance Club was created and is run by the Sepsi Metropolitan Area in partnership with the RMDSZ Territorial Organization of Háromszék and its Saint George branch. The aim of the program is to make regular movement and a sense of community accessible to as many older adults as possible.
Senior dance is a form of physical activity designed specifically for older people. It supports physical health and also helps maintain mental sharpness, as participants practice coordination, spatial awareness, and following dance steps.
The sessions are led by experienced dance instructors, Cseke Ágnes and Tüzes Csilla, who offer weekly classes that provide both physical activity and a social experience for participants.
Registration is open during the annual enrollment period and is available not only to residents of Sfântu Gheorghe but also to people from the entire Sepsi Metropolitan Area.
